Four inspiring interviews you won’t want to miss: The Podcast Series is here!

She Makes Magic: The Podcast Series

“It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know
what you ache for and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing.
It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dreams, for the adventure of being alive.”
~ Oriah Mountain Dreamer

Hold onto your hat, lovely, because today we have a stack of incredible stuff to share with you.

We’re beyond excited to finally announce the launch of She Makes Magic: The Podcast Series.

And to celebrate, we bring you four interviews featuring real-life stories and mind-altering wisdom from women who have honoured their calling, faced their fears, and now live kind-hearted, soulful, and awesomely unconventional lifestyles.

If you’re craving soul-centred change, this series is for you.

If you feel called to say goodbye to a life that doesn’t quite fit right, this series is for you.

If you’ve felt that gentle nudge of acknowledgement that something more is out there for you, and you’re ready to bravely follow your heart and passion, this series is for you.

Throughout our three-year blogging journey, we’ve had the privilege to watch a surge of women step forward, own their truths and create thriving, soul-centred businesses as a result.

Their stories are truly inspiring and that’s why we created this series — to share their stories with you.

Each episode, we’ll ask one woman all the nitty gritty questions on how she did it. Things like dealing with negativity, managing finances, staying centred, and how the heck she even knew what her passion was in the first place.

We hope their wise words will fire you up with inspiration, fill you up with possibility and hand you all the knowledge and resources you need to get out there and start living large.

Our first four interviews are live now and ready to rock your ear drums.

To listen, scoot over to our brand new podcast channel (exciting!) or continue reading to learn more about these four inspirational women.

The inspiring beauties in our first four interviews are:

Alex Olsen: jewellery designer and Violet Gray Design founder

Alex Olsen, Violet Gray Design

Meet Alex Olsen, founder and co-owner of Violet Gray Design, an intentional jewellery label from the Gold Coast, Australia. From humble beginnings at jewellery market stalls, to launching a business with less than $800 in her bank account, to building a unique and mind-blowingly popular jewellery brand, this woman’s story is a shining example of the power behind heart-based, passion-fuelled living.

Chantelle Baxter: entrepreneur and One Girl co-founder

One Girl co-founder Chantelle Baxter

After returning home to Melbourne from an eye-opening trip to Sierra Leone in 2008, Chantelle realised her old party girl lifestyle felt empty and meaningless. So she drastically changed her life and launched One Girl, one of Australia’s fastest growing non-profits. Now she’s aiming to educate 1 million African girls by 2020 – and looks on track to reach her astonishing target. If you’ve ever felt like your dreams are too crazy-huge to become a reality, you simply cannot miss Chantelle’s story.

And … for a bit of fun, we’ve flipped the microphone onto each other! We’ve shared our own stories so you can get to know us a little better.

Koren Helbig: freelance journalist and She Makes Magic co-founder

Freelance journalist and She Makes Magic co-founder Koren Helbig

In 2013 Koren said goodbye to her position as a political reporter with a major Australian daily newspaper to launch herself into the world as a freelance journalist. At the same time she moved to a foreign country – Spain – where she knew no one and didn’t even speak the language. Now that takes guts! Yet, as with everything she does, she’s had roaring success.

Alana Helbig: free-spirited gypsy and She Makes Magic co-founder

Alana Helbig

Five years ago, Alana started feeling like everything in her life didn’t fit anymore. So she threw herself into a monumental journey of healing, followed by a giant leap of faith to find her true passion and purpose. This year Alana quit her corporate job in Brisbane, packed her life into Walter the Campervan and headed off around Australia – all alone. It’s inspiring stuff.
